Might be depression; sounds like some of the symptoms, and suddenly being alone and adrift might cause it.
Here's a google search link that'll turn up a number of sites that talk about the symptoms of depression. Take a look at a few and see if any of it applies: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...=Google+Search Aside from anything else, keeping busy is one of the best ways to fight depression. Try to get some of your old friends back. You may have a problem with overdependency on women, (or obsession, who knows?) especially if you dump friends every time you get a new girlfriend. And maybe you should look at that. But the key thing now is to get busy with something and hang out with people. Maybe lay off women for a while until you haev a better idea of why you do what you do. Last edited by Rodney; 07-17-2004 at 09:18 AM.. |

I'm going through something similar right now.
I was with someone for nearly four years. I literally lost almost all of my friends and my entire family because of her. But, you know what? I'm probably better off for it. The people that I lost are inconsequential. The few who still are in my life, those who still love me, are what are important. So, you don't have anything to do on a Friday night...big deal. Go out and find something. I'm being forced to be stuck at home - that might not be the case with you. Experience life, take a vacation, or just go find a hobby. Me, I spend my life at work. I don't enjoy it, but it's something to do. Look at life as just a series of inevitable changes. It's not going to be good, all the time. However, it will eventually end up in a good pattern. And, finally, realize that the world will keep turning - wake up tomorrow, and it might be all better.
