Help where should we go?
We are planning a trip in August to Mexico Maya Barcelo Beach resort
http://content.sunquest.ca/destinations/canbarcelo.asp This will be our 1st time to Mexico. I have some questions I hope someone can answer. Is this resort going to be good for us? We are in our late 20’s and are looking to have some fun. We like to party but we also like to relax and do some site seeing. Tour around some towns or cities, I might add I don’t really like to go on “tours” I’d like to venture out on our own. We’d like to try and interact with the locals as much as possible with out risking our own safety. We are flying from Toronto ,Canada And have been quoted $1594.00 for 7 days all in., Is this a good price? Can any one suggest a 4 or 5 star resort? We are open to go anywhere…as long as it is hot! |

August is brutally hot in Mexico, so the price you're paying is for off-season- and if that's in Canadian dollars - it's a really good price for 2 people.
Does all inclusive also include booze? (it sometimes doesn't) Just the description seems to be a "family" type resort - - meaning there's gonna be snivelling rugrats - I mean someone elses delightful children running around. If you are the friendly sort, and you like to have fun, check out Club Med Cancun as well - I think there's one in Ixtapa as well -- one of them is family friendly one is no kids allowed. CLub Med is all inclusive, including booze and tips
