So, since I started I've gone kind of easy on my legs. I've gone from walking, jogging, sprinting, biking then running. I can't run or jog for long periods, my mile is still at 12 minutes. I've only recently stepped up into some serious cardio. I started leg pressing just 3 months ago, going from 315 to 405 (these are 3 ten rep sets). I don't consider the 90 lb improvement anything other than getting my legs to ground zero. I've only recently started on squats and deadlifts (replacing leg pressed). But I carry only 135 lbs on both, and I hurt A LOT when I'm done. |
