european hostels?
afternoon,
a friend of mine and i are attempting to sketch out a trip in the beginning of august to western/central europe, specifically uk/germany/france/austria/cz, and im in the process of gathering information on accomodations. anyone have a central source for planning out/booking hostel stays in the countries mentioned? (thinking london/paris/muenich/vienna/praha). any help would be greatly appreciated. (on a sidenote, a youth (sub 26 yrs of age) eurail pass for 15 days goes for 400-\+ usd, is that the going rate or are there other opportunities? again suggestions welcome ) regards

The Eurorail passes are the best bargain around.
Stop by The Netherlands, it's a neat little country. Munich Germany is the place to have some quality beer at the Hofbrauhaus ( make sure to drink at least 2 liters along with your meal). Eurorail passes are the shit, BUT Read Every single last line of information on the damn thing, If you fuck up, you could end up owing a couple hundred Euro's to the train conductor for a ticket because ( Stupid American can't read the damn instructions) Or worse off, Getting hauled off the train by the guys in Green. |

I´ve been traveling for more than two months now through europe staying with people in their homes through a few free websites. Here´s the ones i´ve been using:
www.couchsurfing.com www.hospitalityclub.org www.globalfreeloaders.com www.place2stay.net Check them out. They´ve been a lot of fun. So far I´ve stayed with 24 different people in 6 or 7 countries and have had amazing experiences. I came here a few years ago and did the hostel thing. That was fun but this is even better. And it´s free! Let me know if you have any questions about it. |
