Timeshare
We own a Hyatt timeshare in Key West. We have owned our timeshare for 2 years and have never nor plan on ever returning to our unit. We plan on trading it every year, even if we want to return to Key West.
The wife and I toured Helsinki Finland, Salzburg Austria, Malaga Spain in Oct 2003, all with our timeshare. We've also been to Lenox MA, Gatlinburg TN, and Orlando FL. Anyone else out there have a share? Can anyone else out there share some tips dealing with Interval International or RCI?

We have been RCI members for about 13 years. For years it was great. We used it in Greece, Mexico, Venezuela and many other places. Our unit is in Ocean City Maryland and is a red time zone with a lock off unit-- a full size with a studio attached so it can be rented separatly.
When we first stared with RCI we got great units all over the place. Now if and when we get one they are almost always the worst unit in the building--first floor over looking the parking lot or worst case ocean "view". Also be aware when they keep telling you the sooner you trade in your time the faster you will get your trades. We have been doing this for a long time and decided to try it on our last (really last) reup with them --spacebanked three years and it has been absolutly no help getting the trades we want. We will try another company next time--good luck. |

Are there any favorite resorts, vs resorts to avoid. My wife and I have a fairly new time share, and we are beginning to plan our next vacation and looking for destinations.
We will probably be travelling with a 1 year old, so will probably want to stay in the states right now? |
