Lbs? or Kg?
What does your gym have? The one I am at has a mish mash of each. Which I think is crap! I stick with the 45 lbs, b/c really your just cheating yourself with out that extra pound. No? I guess not really, but force of habit i just stick with the 45's.
Anyways what does your gym have?

I'm in Seattle. Most of the dumbells are marked just in lbs. however the machines and weights for the bench presses are marked in both.

I'm in BC. All plates are labelled with both, but some are round numbers for one system, and some are round numbers for the other:
The regular metal plates are in pounds. The bouncy (rubber coated?) plates for olympic lifting are in kg - probably because they pertain to an international sport in which people want to be able to compare numbers more easily. |
