apparently Bengal Cats aren't afraid of water so if you take a shower don't be surprised if it joins you!

unfortunately they're pretty expensive so who wants to buy me one?! :D

nash 03-27-2004 01:07 PM

If anyone has kittens to give away, let me know too!

Nancy 03-27-2004 01:26 PM

sure thing :p

SecretMethod70 03-27-2004 01:29 PM

hehe, my school had a few (4 I think?) bengal kittens on campus for a few weeks my freshman year. It was really cool seeing them grow - and change - so fast. It's amazing how much their personalities and bodies change in just a couple weeks! They were really cool when they were sall though :D

Nancy 03-27-2004 01:31 PM

not fair! :(

manalone 03-27-2004 03:28 PM

nice cats. The stripes are cool, but I notice blue eyes in some of those kittens. IIRC that's bad, it's associated with deafness and other problems.

Aletheia 03-27-2004 03:42 PM

Aww that is cute.

Ilow 03-27-2004 04:22 PM

Bengal cat, I'll have to remember that. those are some cute kittens!

Grondar 03-27-2004 04:51 PM

It's a very cute cat, no doubt.

If I ever bought a cat, I would stongly consider getting a Bengal cat.

However, I intend to get any cats I own throughout my life via the local humane society or strays that I take in..

They are very cute though, and unlike real tigers, they won't grow up to be 200+ pounds and a life threat. :)

SecretMethod70 03-27-2004 05:14 PM

hahahaha my bad. I was thinking Bengal kittens as in like....tiger cubs. Silly silly me. I suppose it makes no sense to be like "ooh, my school had a couple CATS here for a few weeks" Heh, these kittens look so similar to baby (I mean REALLY baby) Bengal tigers - that's really cool :)

Psivage 03-27-2004 05:36 PM

My kitty her name is Teah. She's my baby.

Those are adorable! I so want one now...

lady 03-27-2004 05:57 PM

I have a Bengal and a bunch of her mixed-breed kids and grandkids (mixed with american short-hair and siamese)

There are pics of them in tilted photography in a thread about pets (if i recall)

Nice to have a cat that can clean your sink...

StormBerlin 03-27-2004 11:03 PM

I don't usually buy animals to keep as pets (I adopt), but I would buy a Bengal Kitty :)

my black kittie used to take baths because she didn't know how to clean herself, so I would fill up the tub and put her gently into it. She'd whine just about as much as any dog.

raeanna74 03-28-2004 07:57 AM

Our cat looks a little like that in her coloring. Those are beautiful cats. You got some good pics.

A friend of ours has a cat a little like that. Hers was a little more independent than even other cats I've seen. Kept pretty aloof.

Our cat (common tabby) is wierd. She's terrified of bathwater but any other body of water around the house or even outside is no problem for her. She loves to hop in the bathtub as soon as we get out of the shower. She sleeps in there when it's all wet and often we find her sleeping in the bathroom sink at night. She's wierd.

I think all normal house cats are like that regarding water. As for her naps in the sink, that's just cute! :p

sillygirl 03-28-2004 11:23 AM

Awwww, I miss my kitty now!!

Those markings are beautiful! I'm interested to know how much these kitties cost!

Yalaynia 03-28-2004 11:40 AM

They are so cute.
I would love to have one, but I have 6 already and I dont think that my cats would welcome anymore.

6?!?! And I can't even get 1! NOT FAIR! :(

tenchi069 03-28-2004 01:55 PM

I read on a website, sorry but I don't have the link, that these kittens cost from 300-500 UK pounds for "pet quality" and 800+ UK pounds for "show quality." I found the website on msn.com's search engine. I think I typed in "buying bengal kitten." They are adorable though )

bernadette 03-28-2004 02:07 PM

aww that is a gorgeous cat.

still tho... if you want a cat, please consider checking your local humane society or other nearby rescue shelters.

or check this website that is affiliated with the ASPCA:
http://www.petfinder.org
you can find pets within your zipcode!
i found my puppy through this site. (he's 2 yrs old now).

there's so many homeless lovely pets who needs good loving homes.

wrongfullyaccuzd 03-28-2004 10:00 PM

That's so awesome...it reminds me of a time I saw a baby lynx...in the back of someone's van on 95 on the way to Buffalo, oddly enough. But yes, very cute and cool cats.

that's a lot but I'm still gonna buy one as soon as I can! ;)

Fire 03-29-2004 06:03 PM

seriously- check your humane society- my grandparrents got one of those from the pound and they never knew what breed it was- just called it the "wierd lookin cat"- it lived to a ripe old age- remember it cause I thought it looked neat and never saw any other quite like it
so you never know.....

isis 03-30-2004 03:50 PM

Aww. I got my cat from the humane society about 10 years ago .. she's still going strong. I'd love one of those hairless Sphynx cats, but every time I go to the SPCA I feel so bad for the kitties :(

When the one I have now moves on, I'll probably just adopt again. Best animals ever.

Chemical 03-30-2004 04:06 PM

I would love a cat like that.

bermuDa 03-30-2004 08:43 PM

I have a half-bengal named cinnamon. She doesn't look much like one though. Still pretty cute, and quite a personality.

The pure-bred ones are awesome though, I've had a chance to play with a few a long time ago.

TheClarkster 03-30-2004 11:32 PM

If we rescue one off the street, like our previous two cats, I'll be sure to send him your way!

And about the blue eyes being associated with health problems of some such, all I've noticed is that our blue-eyed siamese is just a tad dumber than normal. ;)

thanks but I don't think it'll appreciate the long road to good old Denmark, I better come get it myself then! ;)

Cats have a love-hate relationship with water. They like playing in and with it, but hate being drenched or soaked. Fickle!

Baldrick 03-31-2004 07:43 PM

Beautiful cats! I'm partial to Russian Blue's myself. Also very expensive, but we were lucky enough to find two Russian Blue kittens for adoption at Petsmart last year! Paid about $200 for adoption fees rather than $1600 to buy.

We have four ferrets as well. The ferrets and cats play together for hours, and I'll watch them all day. :) Nothing will put me in a good mood faster than giggling at their antics.

BoomTruck 03-31-2004 09:49 PM

Sign that someone is from the city #37- You buy a cat. :p

Those are pretty cats, though.

Down kitty, down!

Those kittens are soooo adorable. If I knew where to get them do you really think I would be telling everyone? :hmm:

Perhaps you can start a webpage for donations. I read a while back that some lady did a webpage and asked people to donate just one penny for absolutely no reason. I don't recall the outcome, but she did get some cash.

pinklily 04-02-2004 09:30 AM

oh my gosh! mini cheetah! I want one too!

ForgottenKnight 04-04-2004 12:54 PM

Very Cute!
