I'll be there with my wife and almost 2 year old in late August. Anyone have any cool knowledge about the island?

My family and I went there over spring break this year. It seems like a really nice island, and it's really pretty. I don't have any cool knowledge about it, though.

i went there a few years ago, all i remember thinking was how come i've never heard of this place before, it's beautiful.

Went there a few years back. I thought the Dutch side was a bit more hospitable than the French side. If you like exploring, it pays to rent a jeep. Orient Bay is a great beach if you want to be a little wild and try nude(don't forget sunscreen for the pecker...Yeouch was that sore!!). Overall really good time- beach was great!
