Why?
 

My cousin lives a distance away... like 45 minutes, so I dont see her or her friends (also my friends) all to often.

Well me and my friend derrick find ourselves with nothing to do last night till 9. This was about 4:30... So we call my cousin. No answer. So we get stoned and go to hooters instead. At about 6:30, on our way home, my cousin calls. We say why not, and head out there.

Turns out her friends are there too. Which was awesome. We smoke a bit, and play pool, having an all around good time. Then 8:45 rolls around and we need to leave...

God damn did I catch hell for leaving "so early".

If the girls had just decided to visit us for an hour and a half, we woulda been like "cool, glad you stopped out". But us visit them for only that long and I just about get my balls cut off!

What gives? Why do women act like that?

Damned if you do, damned if you dont I guess. Cuz if I didnt go out at all... I woulda caught hell for that too!

A better question might be "why did my cousin and her friends act like that?" instead of blaming an entire gender.

It strikes me that they wanted to see more of you and were upset that you didn't get to stay longer. Flattering, really. They wanted to hang out more with you, and were upset that you couldn't stay - they probably assumed you didn't want to stay, or that they weren't as important as whatever else you had to do.

This is a good point... I dont mean to blame a gender all together, but it just kinda came out that way.

I realize they wanted to see more of me... But damn, Im lucky the one girl let me leave... with all my parts still attached.

I would have loved to stay... But alas, on a sunday night, sleep and homework is important.

EDIT: I should note that my friend derrick got a great deal of amusment out of watching me try to talk my way out of there...

Probably right... Two of em dont smoke, but the girl that does... she did most of the yelling. I kinda stood there looking confused, trying to get a word in edgewise.

Then i interupted her with a hug, and was on my way.

God I hate it when women put their hands on their hips... you definatly know your in for it then.

It's easier to be bummed out that they don't get to see their friends longer when THEY don't have next-day responsibilities.

If they had something important to do the next day, they wouldn't have been so adamant about your early exit.

Yea, I know all this, and talking to my cousin, she was just happy to see us to start with... That other girl though... not happy. Perhaps I have something there to pursue if she got that upset... >:)

When my male friend and I spent the night together I reacted in a similar way. Mainly I was worried about him driving drunk and tried to force him to sleep here. I was so drunk that I honestly hadn't realized I was rude and nasty to him when he said he was leaving. Good thing he's the forgiving sort.

One hint : don't push the homework off until the end of the weekend. Get it done first so you have a more relaxing time and more time to spend having fun.

The one that got stoned either:
a. Wanted to get high later on as well
b. wanted to screw your brains out
c. Is just a pain in the ass.
