Pills, Carb blockers, and the like
I work at Rite Aid, and as such, I see a lot of supposed weight loss pills and whatnot. Several questions.
Do those carb blockers really work? Seems unlikely to be, I would think they just make you poop a lot. What about those weight loss pills? They seem unlikely to work either. Lastly, what about those workout pills. I don't think they make them with ephedra in Michigan (the bottles all say no ephedra) but I don't know thats it's the truth. I know we have stacker 2's, and some other brands I forgot, what do they do, and do they work? I can't take any of this stuff, because I run track and they drug test, but I'm curious as to if it works. |

I am going to have to agree with orange monkeyee. The thing is, most people who go on the (insert diet fad here) or take (insert diet pill here) are basically looking for a quick fix to a problem that will take a life change to actually remedy. These people hardly last but a couple months trying to shed those lbs then they go back to their old ways. Getting healthy and in shape take an extreme amount of patience and dedication. At what price are you willing to pay and what risks to your health will you chance just to burn off the fat a tiny bit faster? Fuk the pills, my $.02.
