NYC Club Scene??
 

Simple question, i wanna take a short maybe 5 day trip, if that, to NYC sometime this upcoming summer, sightsee and be a tourist in the day, and party at night. now, my question is, what kind of Goth/industrial clubs exist in NYC, and what are the age restrictions, etc etc. Also,if NYC sucks for that type of scene, where should i start lookin?

You should go to Dayton OH, cool club there called 1470s west (www.1470west.com ) and Elbows is always jumping with hot Goth College chicks...

last weekend i was there & was taken to what used to be called the limelight - i think it's called avalon now. it has a huge dancefloor & it's in an old gothic church. the night i was there (saturday), it was some kind of hard techno (i'm not wise to the subgenres), but the floor was littered with handbills for "nyc's darkest goth nite" or something like that.

hahahaheheheh... I used to live in Dayton... never thought I'd hear about that place again =D .. tho I was never old enough to go there when I did live in Ohio, I did hear many lofty things about it..

arc is the best nyc club, roxy is also pretty good
