Precor machine
 

i've noticed that i can workout using the precor machine for a long time without feeling like im working myself to death. I end up burning up a ton of calories and hardly feel like i have done much exercise. I almost feel like its all an illusion. If i do the stairmaster or treadmill i feel like im gonna pass out after 15 minutes... not so with the Precor machine. How can one get a great workout without actually feeling like it? Anyone else experience this same thing? :confused: :confused: :confused:

I feel the same way. Precor = easy calorie usage, stationary bike = easy calorie usage. Stair machine = sheer torture.

What's a precor machine? I'm not familiar with that name.

Precor is a fitness manufacturer. They are probably referring to its elliptical unit as Precor was the company that introduced them several years ago and are most associated with them.

its this thing.. your legs go up and down a little like a stairmaster but its very smooth. kind of a bit like cross country skiing.

Ahhhh. Okay, I've seen those. NEver used one though. I usually just stick to the the treadmill. I'll have to check it out some time.

I used a generic one once, it was really sorry. Guess that pretty much burned me on them. I like the treadmill also, I have mine set up at home in front of a TV so I can watch a workout video (iFit) or ESPN.
