my best guesses would be a) a minor ear infection, b) reduced bloodflow there (have you ever gotten up real fast and gotten lightheaded? could make your hearing go out too), but if you think it's reduced bloodflow, you might want to go to a doc and get it checked out, c) some kind of ear irratant, d) you could be in the early stages of going deaf in the ear.
i'd get it checked out in any case. best be safe than sorry. |

Do you feel any dizziness or any pain at all? Either one can indicate an infection.
Not really enough evidence to tell. You should get it looked at even if it's not causing pain. If it's inflamation of any sort Tylenol would help it. Maybe Tinnitis? http://www.kennedyseminars.com/handouts/tinnitis.html
