yeah they don't hurt and if you are looking to get huge you should be consuming 1 gram of protein for every pound you weigh!! And definetly hit the weights when you are taking the protein shakes to really benefit from them!! They are a great source of getting that extra protein you need without sitting and eating cans and cans of tuna!!

Just to throw my .02 in here. They can't really be bad for you. Protein can never really be that bad for you, unless your taking entirely too much, but that's pretty hard to do. I have a whey protein shake after workouts that has about 45g of protein. It's fast-absorbing and helps to strengthen and repair torn muscle fiber.
