Nutritional book
My wife is below her BMI weight but has put on about 4 lbs over her vacation that she can't get off. I think some of it is muscle weight as she is a 5 mile a day runner, and she still fits in the same clothes as she did before. Her only big issue is a love for chocolate and a tendency to binge on Saturday night. We both follow the Weight Watcher's diet and workout daily. She was wanting to see a nutritionist, but I told her that she should get a book on healthy eating that she could refer back to (cheaper than a nutritionist and more likely to get better information that you can look at again and again). Can anyone recommend a book on healthy living that addresses types of food for energy, etc.?

i can't suggest a specific book, but i have two suggestions for you. 1: go see a nutritionist, just for one or two visits. the nutritionist may be able to reccomend a book or two, as well as answer any current questions your wife may have. 2: search for nutrition books on amazon and read the reader reviews. granted, in general (i'd assume), most people onlypost reviews if they're gonna be really positive or negitive.

She tried a nutritionist once (not covered by insurance), and the woman was a bit of a crackpot (thought that anyone who dieted was an anorexic due to her own life experience). I have pretty much come to the same conclusion as you. Look at amazon and see what I find. Thanks.
