what is the funniest / most interresting thing you saw on the road? doesn't need to be in the us as long as it is real.

have to write 10 journals for drivers ed to get my damn license.

While this is an amusing thought for a thread, the journal is supposed to be the things you saw, to teach you to be observant while driving. I don't want to encourage you to short-cut on this, because I want you to be a safe driver. I'm on those roads as well.

Headed eastbound on Interstate 80, somewhere in Nebraska, X-mas 1997...middle of the night, I came up on a sign that was in X-mas lights...about 100 yards long and 20 feet high that read "Merry Christmas, Eat Beef". That was one of the stranger things I've seen, out and about. I was pretty confused, it would have been nice to talk to those people to get the story!

I saw two homeless men having gay sex outside of a BP gas station in Morgantown WV while driving to Lexington KY late one night. The one guy was leaning over a shopping cart.

I got back onto I-68, went to the next rest stop. Washed my eyes out with bleach, and went on my merry way.

Driving from Kuwait to Iraq, I saw a three-legged camel.

Driving thru Illinois one night 'bout 3 in the morning, minding my own business, when around the corner, this was out in the middle of nowhere mind you, there's a 300 foot metal cross standing next to the road. I damn near crapped myself.... musta been put there by aliens...

Driving into Tennessee on some back road a few years back, I saw a billboard that had a picture of a cartoon hand with a spike going through it, and blood coming down onto the wrist. The caption next to it read as follows "Jesus knows that sometimes life can be tough as nails." I knew I was in God's country at that point!

i saw sitting at a red light with my mom once when a car was ran off the road by three black cars, 4 men jumped out of the 3 black cars, guns drawn, and rushed at the the driver door of the car and pulled a man out of it. The light turned green so I don't know how it all ended, but I bet the one guy was arrested or something.
