Male Cleanliness
Ok, I was reading a bit today about getting your body in good working order. Things such as exercise, eating healthy and suchlike. I was very interested in the part about cleanliness. We all know women look after their hair and skin very well. But Im told men need to as well, if not, more. My question is, are there any males here who do the 'Exfoliate, toner and moisturiser' thing. I personally use moisturiser when my skins feeling a bit bland. I'd just like to know if anyone else does, and what they use. Females, feel free to add comments!

I like the little shower gloves. There was a photograph of me in National Geographic Explorer, showering with purple gloves!! How embarassing! I've got black ones now, and they work great

He's got some interesting tips on how to take care of yourself. You'd never guess that Witch Hazel is better for cleaning your face than soap. |

OK let me just say- you ALL have GOT to try this shit- The brand name is AXE, and it comes in many different scents, but the one you're looking for is "Kilo"- if in the United States, or "Africa" if in Europe. It's a "deoderant bodyspray"- use it as you would cologne, you have to use regular deoderant with it because it's not great at keeping the sweat down- BUT EVERY GIRL my buddy and I encounter when we wear this stuff either loves it and thinks it's great, or is actually TURNED ON by it's scent.
I don't know what it is about it, but I had to pass it on to you all. Try it out. Spray it on the chest, neck, down the pants if you want to, on the shoulders, doesn't matter. I have YET to meet a girl while wearing it that didn't get a BIG fucking smile and ask what i was wearing. |

Bleach works wonders,,,, if I am feeling extra raunchy then I will use some MEK and then some lotion to ease the slight redness.

well not a bad thread.....
i consider myself to be a very clean guy. first off... - i use both soap (irish spring aloe) and body wash - as far as shampoo just some pert plus, no conditioner - after getting out of the shower, baby powder to feel that extra fresh feeling on my balls and crack (try one with cornstarch in it) the bomb...don't bag on it till you've tried it. - i use a lotion called hempz and its the bomb! i recommend it to anyone - old spice deodorant - shave the face and nuts and trim above the cock - keeping finger and toe nails maintained - brushing the teeth and flossing that might be about it.

"......I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion..." ~Patrick Bateman, American Psycho

Old SPice body wash, Axe spray, Listerine, Head & Shoulders (Not that I have dandruff, but it leaves the hair feeling thinner and "cool" as one chick put it) shampoo and conditioner.

My feet get a lot of attention in the AM. They have to b.c I am one sweaty mofo and if I don't scrub brush the things and spray and powder them, I'll have jungle rot by 3:00 PM. So it's not out of aesthetics, but in the interest of them not rotting off while I sleep. So yes, I do exfoliate my feet I'm sure, but not with the genteel stuff. A good stiff nylon brush and lots of soap.

axe uses pheremones... so yah it can actually turn them on... but its not so much the scent as the chemicals in it...
it might help you meet girls... and start conversations... but its not going to get you a relationship... thats still based on personality and all that....

I moisturise for sure. Just because were men doesn't mean we can't nave nice skin. Especially our face, we shave and those razors can cause all kinds of nasty cuts and burns every where. When I was younger I thought it was sissy-like but now that Im older I understand that it's all in good health. So go for it.

I was actually wondering about using some of that girly facial stuff. I mean, hey, everyone wants nicer skin.
I was even thinking about buying something with "Oil of Olay" on the box. You know, the stuff where the commercial is featuring a half naked woman with perfect skin. |
