Euro Car Rentals
I'm looking to rent a car when we get to Helsinki Finland, Munich Germany with ability to drive to Salzburg Vienna, Malaga Spain. I'm looking for a reputable company, not necessarily Hertz, Avis, or the large ones. I'm looking for fair prices, reliable new cars, and abillity to call for help if needed.

I see...
In Finland you can rent a car in every showroom. For example Peugeot is only sold by Automaa, so in every Automaa showroom you can rent Peugeots for a really cheap price. Of course they're teamed up with some big rental company (in Peugeot's case it's Hertz), but it's still OK. 'Cause you can still drop off your car at the airport. (Maybe you can even pick it up there. I'm not sure about this.) The cars they have are really new. (2 times I rented a Peugeot with less than 100 kms in the clock.) What sort of car are you looking for? Like a Ford Mondeo? Or bigger? Any favoured make? If you want and I think I can help you out on this. Given that I've lived in Finland for ~3,5 years, I've got some friends over there... |

Thanks for the ideas. I ended up renting from autoeurope.com which made like a travelocity type situation.
I ended up with a SAAB 95 for Finland, a MB C200 from Germany, and a Mini while in Spain... total cost will be almost US$2k for the vehicles and gasoline. Hertz was where we ended up with just because those were the cars we picked. I'm sure we could have picked cheaper ones, but since it's the honeymoon and we're going to be in the car for a substantial time, we wanted something comfortable.
