Holding back feelings for a few girls back at high school. Not putting as much effort into school related things. Regret not taking up singing earlier in life.

But as robbie williams puts it
NO REGRETS
THEY DON'T WORK

I regret being such an unsociable dork in school. I could have made alot more friends than I did. And of course holding back feelings for that special girl too. *smacks self*

I regret being lazy with my classes and screwing up my average. I could be in alot better a college than I am now, but thats what happens when my adult future is dictated by decisions made as a kid.

I think thats all for now.. I am sure i have more.

I regret thinking I had a well to do job graduating from high school, and because of this thinking college wasn't necessary at the time.

Got layed off, didn't have enough experience nor schooling to get an equivalent paying job, and have been making up for it since, but that gave me the initiative to go to school decide what I'd really like to do in live, and well be more responsible with both my work and my schooling. If I went to college right after high school I probably would have fucked up my classes like a good amount of my friends did.

So, not really sure I regret those decisions.

Really Robbie was right: regrets don't work! Learn what lessons you can if you fuck up, move on, don't repeat the same mistakes twice!

You can learn from mistakes and still regret them. God knows I do.
If I had it to do over again, I'd never have been unfaithful.

I would not have spent so much time on IRC. It ate up so much of my time that I could have used on much more productive things. Oh well, I'm off it now, and hopefully will be for a while.

EDIT: I probably should explain that I was totally addicted to IRC for a while - to the point where it was creating arguments with my parents and, I wasn't doing a lot of the things I now would like to do... like enjoy the outdoors, and work out.

This is a great subject! My main goal in life is to not have any regrets. My only regret is that I smoked for so many years. It would be nice to be around long enough for my kids to grow old with me... I'll stop soon, I swear!

Sure there are always small things that you might have wanted to do differently, but it is a great goal to look back and say that you don't regret a thing - take me now!

i wouldn´t have gotten so caught up in my last two relationships.... that was three years, in which i hardly even saw my best mate.

feels like i´m still catching up socially with my friends...and plus, it wouldn´t have hurt so much when they ended.

any other regrets?

nope.

My regret is that I sat too long on the sidelines and watched life pass me by. I was waiting for something exciting to come by and whisk me away. Now, I'm in the process of changing all this. In about 2 weeks, I should find out. All I know is that things are going to be VERY different. Man, I am soooo EXCITED!

I regret not being more outgoing in grade and high school. Limited my dating options severely. I also regret not holding onto my friends. I also regret that they didn't want to keep in touch with me and the wife. Their loss really, but still, it hurts.

That's my story, too.

People born in the year I started college graduated the same year I did - I "took a semester off" in '73, to hitchhike around the country, and didn't go back to school until '90. Finally graduated in '94.

I blame alcohol. In those 21 years, I managed to drink a whole lifetime's worth. And then some.

O.K. - truthfully, I don't blame alcohol - I blame myself.

Thanks, jimk - and good luck to you.

Each year it gets harder to go back - so do it now
You've got plenty of time to get ready for spring semester.
Don't wait for a "good reason" - do it for yourself - you're a good enough reason, right?

The only good thing about "Gee, I wish I would have . . . " regrets is that you can still do them if you're determined enough.

Regrets....I've got a few, but then again to few to mention.
If you have lived and don't have any regrets then I would think that you haven't lived at all.
