Choco Tacos
 

At my local Taco Bell, they serve Choco Tacos. They are the greatest ice cream treat ever gifted to man. They consist of a waffle shell filled with vanilla ice cream that is shot through with chocolate syrup. The whole this is topped with a chocolate shell dipped in peanuts. I cannot find them in the super market anywhere. I think they are made by Klondike. Please help me find a way to order these or somehow get them into my freezer.

I see these for sale in places like the 7-11 all the time. The Choco Taco is really nothing more than a Nutty Buddy in a different shape, though. So, if you're hard up, buy a case of Nutty Buddies and mash them into the shape of a taco.

I've tried the Nutty Buddy, but it just isn't quite the same. Ahh, my love affair with the Choco Taco allows no substitution.

These are indeed awesome. Perhaps the Taco Bell will sell them to you in packs? I'd imagine it would be more expensive than from a supermarket however.

Choco Tacos are heavenly. i make a good effort to only allow myself to eat them as a special treat, for i do not want constant Choco Taco consumption to downplay the pure bliss i am in while consuming these tasty treats.

I haven't had a Choco Taco since middle school. Damn those things were good, wouldn't mind having one right now.....that and a Chipwich.

I worked at a Taco Bell for a year and I pitied anyone that ordered a Choco Taco cuz they usually sat in our little fridge for a couple weeks before anyone bought one. Maybe other TB's can get rid of them faster hehe.

I remember when Taco Bell first came out with the choco taco... it was a day full of bliss...

The Choco Tacos at my Taco Bell are kept in a little freezer that is locked. Only the manager has a key to open it. As it should be, those things are very valuable.

It has become somewhat of a tradition for my woman and I to get Chaco Tacos whenever we are in a Taco Bell that carries them.

Sadly, they're not available at every TB location.

man at summer camp i practically lived off them... its unbelievable how good those are... im going to have to try and track them down in lubbock...

choco taco is far superior to the nutty buddy.. because when I try to eat a nutty buddy fast I end up destroying it, but the choco taco's shape holds up better some how. :)

I bought a Choco Taco for my fiance but didn't get myself one. I guess I should have indulged a little myself! This damn diet I am on is pissing me off...... :mad: Who says I need to lose weight before the wedding.

i have seen them in the grocery store.

long ago i found choco tacos at sam's but shortly afterwards they stopped having them. wasn't until years later when i saw my next choco taco at the local taco bell. Ever since then, i've frequented taco bell a whole lot more.

I think they are the best non-haagen dazs ice cream treat around.

Choco Tacos are the best damn thing that's ever happened to ice cream, I love em and buy em my the bulk, since I been wanting to gain weight I usually eat 5 a day

haha, my b/f and a mutual friend of ours and I just had a conversation about them a few nights ago!! Our taco bell doesn't sell them anymore :(.

Remy I started this thread so that I could find out where to buy these outside of Taco Bell. You seem to know, so please share with the class!

I have to admit they are tasty, but you should know that they contain an assload of trans fat -- the worst kind of fat.

Shades, you can buy Choco Taco's at the Sam's Club here in my town, so I'd guess you probably get them at any Sam's near where you live.
