I used to be a big...big fan of no children at all but now that I'm getting a bit older I've grown a bit soft and would consider one, perhaps two. Don't know what to attribute it too -- guess that parental instinct is beginning to emerge.

Never had em, never will. I have never had the desire for children. At all.

I'm happy with my dog. Too selfish to have kids.

In my family, every other generation is big. My aunt was one of 10, my grandmother, one of 13, then of my grandmother's 4 kids, the most anyone had was 4. I'll drag the average back up and have one per year, so I can put myself through hell sending kid after kid through college.

But seriously, one or two, maybe even three or four if whoever I marry wants that many is fine.

This is exactly how I feel, 'cept I have two kids.
I was raised that it is selfish and ignorant to have more than 2 children ~ just as some are raised that having as many as you please is the right thing to do.

I have 7, though I never really wanted any. They all look a heck of a lot like the mailman, hmm... Just kidding! I do have seven and I love them all. I really believe that children help keep you young. (I'm a grandfather, too, and lovin' every minute of it)

When I read this, all I could think of is: Does your wife know?

I have one who's close to 2 years old and she cracks me up nonstop. It's just unforgettable when she comes up to give me a kiss for no apparent reason. I was 41 when she was born. I had never expected to have children and thought I'd never miss having them. I was way wrong. We are working on having a second one now. The most important rule with children: Done have them until you're ready! Of course I didn't know I was ready until she was here.

I want three or four. I have a huge family(9 kids) and I don't want that many. If I could plan the sex i'd have a boy first b/c every girl needs an older bother to look out for them. I really want two boys and two girls so that they each have a brother and a sister. But you know as long as they are healthy it doesn't really matter...

We have 2 boys, and I don't really want any more. Two is enough to keep you busy but still give you some quiet time. My wife's sister just had her first yesterday, and this is giving my wife baby fever. I told her to just think about all the sleep we are going to be getting while her sister is up till all hours.

Although I never planned to be a single dad, I am. I have the most waseome 9 y.o. little girl, and incredible 7 y.o. son anybody could ever hope to have. I would love to have another one or two, but let me say this: [start rant]Parenting is a tremendous responsibility, one that takes action, and a person well grounded in reality. If you are the type to freak out over every little thing, or the kind of person that is self centered, do the world a favor...DO NOT HAVE KIDS!!!!!! If you can't admit when you're wrong or when people you love or wrong, you have no bus. having kids. Guess what? Your children are gonna pull a lot of the same stupid shit you did when you were little, deal w/ it, correct them, pay for the damge, make them apologize and work off the money, and move on.[/end rant] sorry, just somethin that's been on my mind lately. Yeah...I really do love being a daddy, it's the most fulfilling experience I have ever had.
