advice about numbness on right side of mouth

when ever i go to eat on my right side, it's all cold.

maybe i'm not making sense, it does not hurt as such it's just a cold sensation as if the teeth on that side have been frozen.

is this normal?

is there something i can do?

It could be nerve damage, it could be gum disease, it could be tooth decay.

It is probably not midgets with freeze rays, but it may be allergies.

I would advise you talk to a registered oral care practitioner.

When you go to WebMD and tell it you have jaw pain; you get a neat little pop up advising you to seek immediate medical attention. Which, coincidentally, is exactly what I was going to say. I would start with a PCP, your regular doctor would be fine.

Even if someone on here was able to do a differential and qualified to give you actual medical advice, they probably wouldn't be irresponsible enough to try.

WebMD is a site that lets you look up symptoms and gives advice.

WebMD - Better information. Better health.

It's not a bad place to start, but in terms of trustworthy information I prefer the Mayo Clinic's site: Mayo Clinic medical information and tools for healthy living - MayoClinic.com

Make an appointment with your doctor. While there are certainly some clever people on the internet, medical concerns are better brought up with a licensed medical professional.

Oooh ooooh...let me chime in with my lack of medical knowledge.

Sounds like MS...I have MS and that happens to me ALL the time.

Seriously, I agree with Willravel. It could be a hundred different things. See someone who knows what they are talking about and can back that up with credentials.

WebMD always says I have cancer....
