vasectomy advice!!!!!!!!!!
Later this afternoon, I'm going to have my nutsack cut open and my tubes tied.
I was planning on going to work tomorrow, but now I'm not so sure. My work day involves 2 hours of commuting in a car with stick-shift, sitting on my ass and typing into a PC and talking on the phone. I've heard everything from - "lay down for two days or your scrotum will turn ito a giant blood-filled melon of pain," to "Go to work, you pussy." Quick, what should I do (recovery-wise)? I'll check back just before I leave for the sack-slashing event.

Insurance is funny. I think the procedure is going to cost about $50. But the same insurance only covers the first $2 (yes Two dollars) of a month's upply of birth control pills.
All one has to do is say, "cut me" and you have a valid reason.

just went through it. i was a part of a clinical trial so i got it paid for and made 200$ and they filmed it so now i'm a quasi porn star.
take the days off. it'll be sore. i iced the hell out of them for 24 hours straight i used bags of corn and bags of peas and the corn is softer. wear bun huggers for a week or so and don't rush to exercise. i went on a five mile walk about 6 days after the surgery and my nuts hurt for a day afterward. good luck. ps you're cool for doing it. making a woman go through getting her tubes tied is just the pinnacle male suckness.

Frankly, they are there to make money, not care for your needs. Vasectomy is not a necessary procedure- it is optional. Thus some companies won't cover it. However, most do cover it, as they'd rather pay the small price for a vasectomy than the much larger price for labor and delivery + 9 months of office visits. BTW, I had em clipped last year. So nice not to have to worry about pregnancy after so many years of sweating it out and praying for a period!!
