tired eyes
the rings under my eyes havent disappeared for the past few years even though the lifestyle that created them (mostly staying up all night messing around on my mac) has long since past.
what do i need to do to get rid of them? my eyes have a kind of sunken freaky quality to them which doesnt seem to want to disappear -alec |

if you ever get bugger all sleep, and your eyes fell really tired and somtimes hot, in the moring. its sometimes good to put ice on them. That may also help them generally as well. Ice is good. Just don't leave it on them too long.
The foundation is just a quick fix, ie superficial. Tho i imagine there is some kind of beauty cream that reduces wrinkle and lines and all that stuff. Just ask at the chemist i guess. Tho best thing is getting 8 hours of sleep a night. 30 minute power kips are good as well |

If you have any sort of allergies, it doesn't help. I' allergic to all molds, trees, and dust; when I wake up in my house surrounded by woods and across the street from a swamp, I sometimes look like I've been punched repeatedly in the face.

I'm dealing with basically the same problem, and it seems that drinking lots of water helps a bit. Something to do with the kidneys. I've got a page here with a whole story but it's in dutch i'll give you a short version:
1. you're not getting enough fluids. drink atleast 2-3 liters of (mineral) water or fruit juices. 2. you're gettting too many acids. take more base-producing foods like potatoes, vegetables and fruit. 3. the body is bottling up emotions. long passage about kidneys regulating water and emotions (bit etherical) 4. your kidneys have 'dozed off'. Try drinking tea of willowbark or willowleaf. 5. shortage of minerals in the body, especially kalium. If you want I can translate some more. there's also some eye revitalizing cremes, by Lancome or some other major company. tiny and brutally expensive jars of minty green creme. Tried it once but it didn't really do that much for me. I think the hammeroid creme works mostly for bags under the eyes (not sure tho, I could never get myself to try it )

The three comments above are correct. but there is more. I worked at a sleep disorder clinic in detroit and learned this.
Allergies - Get off of all dairy products for 4 weeks. no shit. All of your allergies will be reduced to almost nothing including mold and dust. Water - the doctor is right. drink 8 glasses a day. salt - My friend used to get up before bed and get some comfort food and in the morning say, " my eyes are puffy" or my eyes are red" it was caused by the lack of deep sleep brought on by raised nocternal blood pressure, brought on by salty snacks like cheetos or Campells soup. Sugar - same as salt. Really, don't eat anything prior to 3 hours before going to sleep, it is killing your ego and your health. If this is difficult for you to do (like most people) it is because you are addicted to this stuff. Treat it like smoking and quit cold turkey! Try it it works for most sleep disorders.
