Distrophic paranoid tendencies
Intelligence of the new generation vs. the OCD powerstarved of the last few.
In my lowest days, I am taken in by the media's semiintellitent bullshit, and cannot but help myself to see all the way to my limit. What I see is nothing fun, and I can't look forward to the next day, it seems. I'm stuck in a vicious stagnant mental distrophy circle, because of this clash of values. This crap keeps me from thinking in straight lines... I wanna be optimistic but there's no percievable good left in our endless British/American Empire! I'm not thinking past that point. My mentality is locked up, help me out.

Take a day of R&R... turn off the media outlet boxes for a spell and reconnect with what makes you feel good and fulfilled.
Call an old friend and ask how they are doing, practice an instrument, run for an hour or two, or volunteer at a community center; that's how I reconnect with what's really real, and a time when I finally perceive what is and what's not media spin. Nearly all of it is, so I re-compensate by examining it on my own whenever I am given the opportunity to do so.

When it hits me, I dive into a garden. Getting my hands in the dirt, pulling a dozen weeds, then washing off the scum - never sleep as well as I do those nights.

I just take a moment to realize there isn't a god damn thing I can do about it, and go do something else.
If I entertain for a moment that there is something I can do about, I think about the sacrifices I would have to make to do that, then go do something else. Either one brings me to the same endpoint.

There is plenty of good left in our society. The media just doesn't report it. Go outside. Take a walk around. Do something enjoyable and most importantly, be yourself.

Thanks
But I don't hold my personal life in very high priority anyway... I'd be a motivator if I had the resources. They're easy to come by: location; communication; refining the motive;; that's all, that's it. The problem comes in thinking that I can break a centuries-old superhuman-ocd oppression fanclub that survived to rebuff the revoltive drive of the 60s, making it a p.r. goldmine, goddamn it! GRR! When does Buddha, Jesus or, someone! step in and take the wheel from these people! Yheesh... I need a walk.
