I will be spending the Fourth of July weekend in Austin and was curious what there is to do there since it will be my first time visiting the city.

FYI -- Going down to meet up with a few college friends (both guys and gals). Thanks.

grab some grub at stubb's! it's one of the best damn bbq's you'll ever eat and you can catch a lot of great concerts there... different genre's every nite!

Here...

Go for the Ethyl Burger. It's a 3/4 lb. beef patty, topped with mayo, mustard, lettuce, pickles, tomato and onion. Cheese is a very personal choice.

Pretty much hope someone that doesn't suck is playing at Stubb's (I caught dredg there last time I was in town) or wander drunkenly on 6th street. Other than that, I don't really know.

He's been to Austin a few times and he now thinks he runs the place. He goes by the name Peeker more so than his real name, even teachers call him Peeker. He'll be going to UTA starting next semester. Oh, and completely avoid this jackass called Arturo Dominguez. He's a computer science major and is also the biggest idiot to ever exist. He makes Hitler look like a tree-hugger. Austin can be a scary place.

Thanks for joining my site btw.

6th in austin is party centeral. All the bars are there and if you watch Dave Attell tonight on Comedy Centeral i am sure he will have several ideas of what to do in Austin.

If you get bored come over to College Station, TX, up the road a bit and to the right.

Other than drink, what were you wanting to do?

The downtown area has hit the bottom of the barrel and all the bars that were cool have gone out of biz. 3rd floor cantina is gone, that place did rock.

Well I have arrived back home after an interesting weekend from Austin where we managed to rip it up and actually get kicked out a a bar or two. One being the Aquarium -- a friend of mine got upset with a girl we were with and therefore got in a shouting match with her -- he gets cut off, has another friend order him a drink and then gets the boot for drinking after they cut him off. Great thing about Sixth street is all we had to do was just walk across the street and hit another bar. Crazy...crazy times were had by all.
