I taught English (regular and College Prep) and US History. They were fun, though the History was a lot of work since it was only my minor, and I really had to be up to speed on every detail, every day. English was less exciting than I expected it to be... the grading of horribly-written essays (written on rarely-read books) drained me weekly.
I think that if I had the training and skills, I would have loved to teach Physics or maybe Biology. Those were my favorite subjects in high school, before English took the cake... and my enthusiasm would have served those subjects better than it did English and SS.
