This sort of situation is one we get a lot here on the TFP, and we have given the advice we gave many times before, yet few people actually take it, use it, and stick to it. Well done, sir. hahaha well, if you're really interested.

When I got to Toronto we ended up hanging out but between the time I wrote about her and the time I went I made the decision to stay with a friend in hamilton.

But, nevertheless, that saturday night we went out with some of her friends, and by the time we were done I couldn't get back to hamilton so I ended up staying with her overnight. We did end up sleeping together and I was really glad that the next day wasn't awkward; she was aware of what I was going through and really respected that. Since then I've been acting my age very much. Two days after that I met a barista in The Distillery District and took her home. Met a girl here named Katelin (one of the new friends I was talking about) and last saturday we hooked up. And then Monday... then tuesday haha.

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel about this; before this I have been a very monogamous creature. I don't dislike it, I'm just not used to it.

Oh and I should mention that Ash and I did sleep together after we broke up but not recently; it was almost two weeks after we broke up.

I'm so in my twenties it's not even funny.

PMF, GD, best of luck to both of you. It's been over two years sense my ex kicked me to the curb, and I'm still pretty much fucked in the head over it. Sense I've come back home I've gotten a lot better. I'm pretty close to back on track, but I spent a lot of time on the other side of the planet from my support base. Keep your friends close, keep you minds and eyes open, and don't rush into anything to quickly. Time may not heal all wounds, but it does teach us how to deal with the pain better.
