I am having granola and beer for lunch right now.

sapiens 06-21-2008 09:40 AM

I had whole wheat fettuccine marinara with turkey meatballs. All homemade. Very tasty.

guyy 06-21-2008 10:19 AM

Onion, olive, red pepper fritatta & cherries from the tree in the yard. And a beer -- thanks Tomas. Food is better with company.

snowy 06-21-2008 10:42 AM

I sort of did a brunch thing today with a whole-wheat pretzel drizzled with chocolate and some Sumatran fair trade organic shade grown coffee.

Baraka_Guru 06-21-2008 03:51 PM

A 6 oz. top sirloin with horseradish and bbq sauce, served with braised mushrooms and a caesar salad. Washed down with a café au lait.

So much for returning to vegetarianism; I blame my weightlifting routine. (So hun'GEE!)

Turkey Sammich on a kaiser roll with more mustard than most people can stand.

While making a sandwich (or sammich), I often sneak a spoonful of mustard when no one is watching. My usual standby? Maille Dijon, of course. (We should talk.)

Easily my favorite condiment. I get the huge glass jars of French's cause the squirt bottles run out to fast.

I eat my hamburgers without mayo/ketchup/mustard, but usually have 2-3 tablespoons of mustard on the side for fries.

Steamed broccoli, sauteed tofu, and rice.

snowy 06-25-2008 04:04 PM

A slice of sausage pizza and a Diet Pepsi.

Bear Cub 06-25-2008 04:48 PM

Strips of pepper steak with onions and peppers on a tortilla, a few pieces of kielbasa with a horseradish mustard sauce (almost like sauerkraut in texture), and some small potatoes on a skewer.

blktour 06-25-2008 04:53 PM

left over steak with rice, with lime and salt, and some ADOBO seasoning. two bottles of water, and a gummy bear that a co-worker gave me.

forseti-6 06-26-2008 11:43 AM

I had a cajun chicken sandwich. I made it myself, but inspired by the Zaxby's Cajun club. Mine wasn't nearly as good.

blktour 06-26-2008 12:02 PM

today is Ceviche with some Valentina Salsa! oooo, is my nose runny! =)

Willravel 06-26-2008 12:03 PM

I hate skipping lunch....

snowy 06-26-2008 02:15 PM

A Carl's Jr. Famous Star (my favorite fast food cheeseburger), french fries, and a Diet Coke. After busting my hump to pack up my house, I deserve a juicy, delicious cheeseburger.

soma 06-26-2008 05:40 PM

chicken breast and tomato sauce. yummo!

ring 06-26-2008 06:14 PM

I rummaged around in the fridge,
and looked for more Peanut sauce delivery objects...(subjects?)

I fried The mammoth portabella mushroom and doused it.
I scrambled three eggs and tinged them.
I steamed some brussel sprouts and dipped them.

Bear Cub 06-26-2008 07:26 PM

A few hot wings, some jalapeno cheese chunks, and a small garden salad, courtesy of the Hyatt Corporate Suites.

Out of curiosity, was there any shortage on tomatoes up there in Canada? With the salmonella scare in the U.S., many Subways and other restaurants still aren't serving tomatoes.

They're serving tomatoes here--from Canada! BC Hothouse tomatoes are safe.

jewels 06-27-2008 02:18 AM

Whole grain wrap with sliced real turkey and mustard. Otherwise naked.

Yeah, what she said. To be honest, I don't care where they come from, I just need tomatoes. A sandwich isn't a sandwich without them.

lotsofmagnets 06-27-2008 10:06 AM

fresh air. this is getting seriously unhealthy.

jewels 06-30-2008 01:26 AM

Sushi. And sushimi. Mostly eel, salmon and tuna. Yum.

Tully Mars 06-30-2008 02:20 AM

A big fat cheese burger and fries at TGIF.

snowy 07-03-2008 11:34 AM

A quesadilla from Qdoba--this time just cheese, no chicken. I remembered this time that I don't like their chicken--it's always too dry and chewy. But the plain cheese kind is tasty.

girldetective 07-03-2008 12:54 PM

chicken and mushroom lasagna with pepperjack and alfredo sauce. It had a kick of hot sauce. mmm.
