Split ends?
This is a rather feminine problem, but I've got split ends around the peak of my head, they're rather annoying, get caught in brush and such, but is there a treatment for them? Or something I can do to prevent them in the future?

For those who believe in God, most of the big questions are answered. But for those of us who can't readily accept the God formula, the big answers don't remain stone-written. We adjust to new conditions and discoveries. We are pliable. Love need not be a command or faith a dictum. I am my own God. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us. --Charles Bukowski |

There are shampoos and conditioners that claim to specialize in this area but I'm not sure they actually work.
Are you using lots of hair products? Lots of chemicals don't help. The strongest smelling shampoos and conditioners are the ones that damage your hair most. Herbal Essences is horrible because what makes your hair smell good is chemicals that stay on your hair. Dying your hair doesn't help either. The best remedy for split ends is a regular trim because it stops them so that they don't continue to split farther up your hair. Also, if you do, it isn't necessary that you use shampoo and conditioner every day. Your natural oils are good for your hair. Condition once a week and shampoo maybe once every other day. Other days just rinse your hair with water. |
