Need Help!!!! Finding a "Poconos" type hotel room without the price

Planning a romantic sexy weeekend with my wife and I want to take her to one of those "Pocono" type theme rooms witht the mirrored ceilings, hot tub, etc. but I don't want to pay $300 a night if possible. Any suggestions? I live in MD so anywhere within 2 -3 hours driving time would be fine. I appreciate the help.
Thanks

How about looking at more of an airport or business style hotel?
They may have a suite that meets your needs and they tend to run weekend specials because business travel tails off over the weekend.
You probably won't get mountain vistas but it sounds like you're mostly looking for indoor entertainment anyway.......

I will look into the airport angle and no, the vistas aren't what I'm looking for. Thanks for the input.

Do you have one of those "alternative weekly" newspapers in your area? The hot-tub hotels often advertise in the back pages of those papers.

Another great suggestion.... I will also look into that. I don't want the joint to be seedy with crunchy sheets but I also don't want to pay an arm and a leg for the Pococnos. Hopefully I can find something in between. Hmmm, sounds like I should open my own chain of these things....

Thanks for the assist Red.

Totally agree with you there -- once you get the names out of the newspaper, look 'em up on them thar Interwebs.

Try something like this:

http://www.poconospoconos.com/

Timeshares are usually the best bang for the buck, but you may have to search a bit to find one that's your style.

Good luck!

I am in York, PA and can think of 2 places to meet your needs. Hopefully, you have not taken your trip yet.

1. Harrisburg, Inn of the Dove. It was a GREAT welcome home from being away for 3 weeks present. It included a hot tub, 3 person space shower with 2 shower heads, 24 hours XXX channel.

2. King of Prussia mall, there is a hotel attached to the valley forge convention center. They have themed rooms, caves, barns and many others.
