Suddenly huge appetite
I know I have changed sort aspects of my lifestyle recently. I started taking yoga once a week (need to find a second class that is closer). I now work somewhere else, and I normally walk both there and home (about 1.5 miles). There is a lot of walking around at work as well.
Anyway I have noticed that i now have had a huge appetite throughout the entire day. I normally have some oranges, pretzels, to snack on during the day. But I wonder if I have cubicle snacking where you just snack whenever you are on the cubicle. |

When I was working as a [censored] for the [censored] corporation, I had a cubicle full of snacks. I was very active and it carried over to work times.
Your body is reacting to your increased activity. "FEED ME, SEYMOUR!" Make sure to keep feeding it healthy things and you'll be surprised at how you still lose weight. |

Yeah, it just sounds like you have an increased metabolism thanks to a more active lifestyle. Simple as the fact that your body requires a certain base amount of calories, and now your more active lifestyle has your body demanding more calories. Kudos to you for choosing healthy snacks.
Personally I'd love to get to a point where I had enough of an active lifestyle that I could eat whatever I wanted and still not gain any weight. I'm not exactly there yet... |

My body gets to that point every summer when I'm working outside for at least 10 hours a day in the sunshine and heat. It's good! Just feed your body some extra healthy calories and you'll be fine. Eating small amounts during the day will help keep up the metabolism boost, too.
Just don't snack on carbs alone, in my opinion. Add some fiber and protein in there.. one of my favorite snacks is celery or carrots and some peanut butter. Hopefully you are enjoying your activities as much as your metabolism is.

Activity will make you hungry because the calories are burning away. I hate the feeling of insatiable hunger. I had that earlier this week and was eating anything that was coming my way. Of course, people automatically assume I'm pregnant. Idiots.
I've learned to just listen to my body. If it says it's hungry, feed it. If you're active, you shouldn't gain the weight.

this might be neither here nor there for you, but i recently found out i have sleep apnea....
not only does it make you drowsy during the day from the lack of quality rem sleep, but that very lack of sleep can build up enzymes that block the sensors in your brain controlling appetite, often tricking you into being hungry when your not. this can cause weight gain which in turn will enhance your sleep apnea. so whether you have a sleep disorder or not, just a general tip to look at your whole routine when something like this happens, you might be surprised @ the source.
