just had a disturbing dream
Man i just woke up from a dream (nightmare?) that really bothered me. I dont think a dream has ever really affected me like this after waking up, but this one leaves me with a shitty feeling in my gut. Anyhow, it starts somewhere with me hangin out with a friend's girlfriend. Which isnt uncommon at all, we do alot. To the point where it really bothers her boyfriend. But.. All the sudden she takes off her top and smiles at me (while still driving no problem, which didnt seem odd at the time) so I'm like great! and I move to kiss her. She backs up like what the hell are you doin, and starts sayin: she hates me, only reason she hangs with me is because im friends with her boyfriend, basically just rips into me for the rest of the dream. Woke up after the barrage of insults was over, and just sat in bed for a few minutes like 'what the fuck.' Maybe this just reflects whats been in the back of my head for a long time.. I'm not exactly sure. Never been too spiritual about dreams having some sort of deep inner meaning or something. This one just really got to me for some reason.

i've always thought that this pretty much defines what dreams are. but, then again,...sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. is up to you to decide what has 'meaning'. and of course, what meaning it has.

Er pardon the expression, but don't lose any sleep over it.
Dreams are just weird by-products of the mind. No sense thinking too much about it. I mean just last night I had a dream that my gf's brother had a weird disorder that made him get older and younger, back and forth. So odd.

Radio Monk is part right, sometimes dreams don't really mean anything. But sometimes they do. My English teacher took a very in-depth course in dream interpretation in college. I always take my dreams to him. Now I know that this is no help to you because I don't know what it says. But what I'm saying is, it most likely means something, but it may not mean nothing bad just because the dream was bad. It could be something so simple.
I have a dream where I have a serious car accident, and that is a nightmare my friend, and all it boiled down to was the choices I'm making in life right now. So, just because it was a bad dream, doesn't mean you should worry about it. If I was guessing, and believe me dawg, I am, I would say it has something to do with an insecurity of yours. I say that because if you feel insecure, then that dream was a nightmare because it was like a bad fear coming true. But seriously, it probably has nothing to do with your friend, the girl, or your relationship with either. So don't worry about it. But if you really wanna know, they have all kinds of books on the subject, just make sure you don't get one of those psychic type books in which dreams predict the future. Get one written by a psychiatrist that gives dream INTERPRETATIONS, not PREDICTIONS. As you can see, this is a subject of interest for me.

i've had dreams 'tell' me that a guy i was interested in had a gf.. or that things in my relationship weren't right and 'predicted' my breakup. they were part of my intuitions. dreams are what you make of it. sometimes, they're just random firings of the brain. other times, i think it may emphasize what you already, subconciously know, that you may not be aware of consciously yet. at least for me..

I've had three main dreams that I'll never forget, because they affected me that much. Will I share them? Nah, you don't want to know about them. I believe that these dreams don't mean a damned thing in the real world, they're just things that've been on your mind for a while and you haven't dealt with. I'm sure she doesn't hate you

Crazy
|
my biggest problem is I have boringish dreams. the reason that this is a problem is that stuff blends together. I cant tell anymore whether I am dreaming or not. I have read books, only to wonder if I actually read it or dremt I read it. Eventually people started to notice, I started mentioning things that never happened and they started bitching at me. Now I get bitched at wheter I am dreaming or not. Everyone says I am crazy. I dont know what I know. I dont know what is real. I dont know if this is in my head, and no matter what anyone says I will be unsure.
