My last SO, met through a another girl I knew that used to come over our house all the time. Showed up with her in tow, and we spent a month with her glaring at me and me leering at her, ended up talking, and fast friends for 12 years, dated for 1 year, then she decided to fuck some cook she met online.

Met first wife on the job, she was a customer.
Ditto with second wife...we worked at the same place. Met immediately prior SO on an internet dating site. Resulting in a mutually enjoyable, four year relationship, living together the final two years. It was a wonder to both of us that we met without knowing a soul in common, and she was Manhattan born and in residence, and I lived in a 'burb. On our fourth date, we discovered that both our deceased mothers shared the same birthday, and at the time, it seemed less than a random coincidence, as it does now. Met third, present wife when she was a co-worker at the place where I met first wife. Present wife and I dated and ended up living together during the summer before I started dating first wife. Present wife and I split after that summer, and she returned two years later, just weeks before first wife and I planned to wed. After a tearful good bye, in 1974, present wife and I had no contact for 27 years. I came across her listing on classmates.com and paid to join that site for the privilege of sending her an email via a blind address. Although I had maintained "a thing" for her, throughout our long separation, I still deliberated for seven months before I sent that initial email to her. While I deliberated, "met on the net" SO of four years was pressing for marriage, but I had taken a bite of the apple, and reluctantly accepted that I had to send that email, or always wonder about what would have happened if I had sent it..... Third "wife to be" remembered me and immediately and enthusiastically replied to my initial message; we've been reunited for six years, as of this month. I've married exactly every 14 years. I'm hoping the cycle is now broken. Last edited by host; 11-11-2007 at 02:08 AM.. |

First Major GF was in school. I dropped out senior year and went to a charter school a year later to finish up. There I met the girl I'd be with for 5 great years. I broke up with her to see what else was out there, she was pushing for marriage and kids..I regretted it and it was hard for awhile but I'm happy where I am. We maintained contact off and on for a bit but last talked at the beginning of this year. She has a couple kids and is married now.
Next GF was someone I met while I was in physical therapy for a work injury. She helped me heal. I don't know why we broke up it just happened one day and We didn't talk for two years and I recently ran into her again and we went to the movies last night lol it was pretty damn awkward but really fun at the same time lol Next GF I met while drunk off my ass at a bar. I didn't remember her the next day but my friends said she was nice. We went out for a bit, but I realized I didn't wanna settle down with her so we are now just occasional friends with benefits. Next GF is one of my best friends sisters! I known her for many years but never really talked to her cause she was my friends sister. Ran into her one night at the club and she asked for my number. We talked that night for like six hours on the phone. Great chemistry and had a secret relationship for six months. We both got too attached and broke up cause we both realized that her family would never accept me in that way. She felt that she couldn't stay with me if we had no future. Next family gathering will be fun lol Haha now I'm just waiting for the next Ms. Right

I met my wife in High School. We met in 10th grade. I was going out with a friend of hers for most of the year. She (my wife) was always part of the group i was hanging out with as a result of her relationship with my girlfriend. When my girlfriend and I broke up there was about 3-4 months where I was just hanging around. I got invited to the ex's house one night by my wife. Funny thing was I thought this was an opportunity to get back together with my girlfriend. By the end of the night I was holding hands with the woman that was to become my wife and gave her a kiss good night. That was 1986. We've been together ever since, married her in 1993. 21 years, 2 kids and a pretty good life. I'm happy.

I met my wife while I was pretending to be a vampire. She was a human and I saved her from a pack of roaming gangrel. It was love at first sight. Er, well, lust at least.
After many furious games of RPS, we went to the goth bar where I was strapped up and beaten. 8.5 years later. we've been married for years. we are mostly normal aside from quietly laughing with the emo kids and telling one another how very very cute they are. |
