Cthulhu world tour

Well, it's been a while sense I've really posted anything on here. Simple truth is, I've been to depressed. But, things are starting to look up. Some of you know I'm in the Navy. That will be ending around the end of this month. I am no longer happy with what I do, so it's time to move on. Once my car gets shipped back to the main land, it's road trip time. I need some time on the road to find myself a bit. Being trapped on this God forsaken island for almost 4 years has driven me batshit crazy. So, for those of you in the 48 states, I'm looking for weird shit to see. World largest ball of wax, what ever. Or just really cool places. I'll be, when I can, putting updates here:
http://www.myspace.com/cthulhuworldtour

So, TFP, give me some pointers on where to go. What is out there in your nick of the woods to see?

Chicago - ok so it's getting to be cold but there's still 2 - 3 months left of good weather...

Lots of cute midwestern college girls - who would be impressed by a navy man

Maleficent- Chicago is one of my planned stops already. Got friend that lives there I'm stopping in on. I would have to stop there anyway, if just for a real Chicago deep dish pizza.

Squeeeb- some great ideas there. Lovecraft's grave is a must, given my travel partner.(see link in first post) The headless chicken thing sounds like it hold promise. What time of year you guys hold that one, and what the hell is it?

thanks for the offer. If I do end up that way, count on at least lunch somewhere. We can get some chicken. And that is one cool fucking bird.
