Well Red named himself this morning.

I was cooking breakfast, and I made some bacon and was waiting for the grease and pan to cool enough so I could pour the grease in a jar. Red jumped up onto the stove, right into the pan of hot grease. Then I had a furry, greasy bullet flying around my apartment at full blast. Luckily the grease had been cooling long enough that it wasnt dangerously hot, just painfully hot. I stuck my finger in to see how hot it really was since I couldnt get him to stay still long enough to look at his paws.

anyways... his name is now Bacon!

He's been licking his paws a lot today, but the pads look fine and not blistered or anything.

He was fixed yesterday... so its been a rough couple days for him!
