Dogs, and smells of terror
Damn, this one brought tears to my eyes. All over his collar, his bark trainer, his head. By the end of his bath I was so light-headed that I ordered a Zune. Now that's serious. I'm sure I'll catch hell about it.
The first accessory will be a paper-bag-over-its-head case. I wonder if MS sells one. What do you do when your pet rolls in the odiferous uglies?

Jack the Beagle doesn't really do that, which is nice. When Schnookie the Fox Terrier, my previous dog, did it, we shot him the the hose outside on the lawn first until he was as clean as he was going to get, then it was in the tub for a serious bath. He sure did have a blast.

I was so bent I neglected to mention what brought this problem to attention. Sure there was the odor, but that had barely scratched my consciousness when poochy leapt through the door. You see, my dog is a kisser. He loves to surprise people with a quick lick of their lips. Oh, and there absolutely are exceptions to the saying that a dog's mouth is cleaner than our own.
The horror. Tphtphtph! Will, I'm mildly surprised you didn't pick up and run with the zune mention.

Heh. Don't worry, it was incredibly cheap. I believe a new model is on the way but it still amazes me how deeply they're discounting the things.
I am liking the brown paper bag case idea though.
