Primary care physician in Chicago
I moved to Chicago about 8 months ago and am now looking for a primary care physician. I've never had to actually find one before because I've always gone with the recommendations of either family (when at home) or friends (when I lived in St. Louis). Does anybody know of one they can recommend? Preferably one who they've gone to before on the North Side (convenience) and is a private practice but not part of a huge group. Sort of like a place with up to four docs. Thanks for the help!

PM me if you want. I like my doc, and he should fit your bill. He's got offices at Diversey & Sheridan and Peterson & Western. He's always done well by me.
One other thing - this thread is fine as it is, but please don't post any phone numbers here. That should be saved for a PM since there's a rule about posting those kinds of things.

My doc has a private practice. Three docs, two nurses, one receptionist. Don't know where exactly you live, but it's located in Skokie. His affiliation lies with Rush North Shore Hospital. I can provide all the info information up to what insurances he accepts.
