internet job : credible?
Hey all,
I get alot of offers through email of employers who see my resume and some of them want me to sign a contract through email or something. How do I know which company is credible and legal and which is not? Is there a place, phone number, email, or website where I can ask and see if a job is legal and credible and send them the job offer email so they can investigate? Any info is kindly appreciated. Thanks. |
if a company is willing to hire you site unseen based on a resume posted online - there's a problem
What kind of contract are they asking you to sign? It's not out of the ordinary for headhunters to ask you to sign an exclusivity agreement, so that if youo get hired by a company they send you to interview at, they get the credit for it. You can always check the BBB for company information (that's the better business bureau) But use your instincts -if something sounds too good to be true.. it usually is |
it's supposed to be for an online store in the UK, so they hire people to do work for them or so.
Thanks for the info, mal. Is there a place we can show the offer toand they investigate, other than BBB. |
is this for a textiles company in the UK, and you are doing collecting for them? If so, you are about to become a victim of a 419 scam.....
