Using QuickBooks/Quicken
Hi, I hope this is an appropriate place to post this.
I use QuickBooks in my business. As the years have gone by, I pay more and more bills with my credit card. I would dearly love to be able to download my credit card statement into QuickBooks. I went to their forums, and as nearly as I could figure out, the reason I can't is because Intuit is trying to force banks to pay them for the privilege of being able to provide their customers with a download in a QuickBooks-compatible format. Intuit's advice is to change credit cards if yours won't pay them. I'm not willing to do that, especially since I know who will wind up footing that bill. I've seen a couple of utilities on the web that profess to accomplish what I want, but they're $200, which I don't want to pay unless it's going to work. Does anyone have a solution to the problem? Thanks. |

The utilities that claim to do this would have to use the QuickBooks SDK to read the info from the file you download and push it into QuickBooks. This can be done. Check and see if these companies have a demo you can try or a return policy if you are not happy with the software.
You will also need to make sure they are compatible with your version of QuickBooks. |
