I used to do EVERY since exercise with dumb bells. Now I use the barbell for benches and occasionally a machine/cables.
Trust me when I tell you this, you can hit pretty much anything with dumb bells. Wanna do a bench press? Lie your ass down on a bench and press straight up. It's really hard to explain every single possible exercise in text, so I highly recommend you do a search on "work out routines" on the TFP, and then look up each exercise on google. Or, sometimes, those work out routine threads will talk about technique Best of luck

Just mimic everything - every motion - you can think of. And search through these threads...there has been a lot written about this topic.

Just click on the body part and it'll list the exercises. Remember to work your legs. |

Yeah. What they said. You can even do heavy lower-body work with dumbbells. I do: dumbbell squats and dumbbell deadlifts. Dumbbell shoulder press and push press. Dumbbell flys, standing or laying down. Dumbbell kickbacks and behind-the-neck presses for triceps. Dumbbell hammer curls for the forearms, or a twisting curl to work both your forearm and biceps simultaneously. You can do a _lot_ with dumbbells.
