Going to Aspen - any suggestions?
 

Going to Aspen this week with a group of friends. Looking for any suggestions - restaurants, things to do, places to go, routes to ride.... Thanx

down the hill from Aspen is the worlds largest natural hot spring pool in Glenwood Springs, they also have private pools you can rent. Definitely worth checking out. If the slopes are to crowded at Aspen, also down the hill is a local resort called Sunlight Mountain, also worth a look.

Bring lots of money !!!

The people watching in Aspen is second to none. You really need to spend some time at it.

Thanks to all - certainly taking the boards. I will try the springs and Sunlight Mountain. Any suggestions for restaurants or bars? We will be there for the Super Bowl so if anyone knows of a good spot to take that in I certainly appreciate it!

Just got back. For anyone who goes - Skiing or boarding in Aspen is great. Hit Ajax (steep and great long runs), Snowmass - big hill - make sure you do the Cirque and AMF runs off the palma lift at the top! and Aspen Highlands - do the bowl - you have to hike after taking a Cat up but well worth every step. Snow is incredible.


Also - Ate at Ute Bar and Grill, Genre and Dome pizza. Fantastic. J Bar is a great pub with lots of flat screens and a nice feel.
