Effects of cannabis on conjunctivitis?
Say one has just been diagnosed with conjunctivitis, more commonly known as pinkeye. Would it be wise for that person to then...inhale fumes from cannabis plant that happens to be burning? Or should one avoid cannabis fumes for the time being?
I feel like cannabis "fumes" have a tendancy to agitate the white portion of your eye, which is also the portion of the eye that pinkeye effects. However, pinkeye is caused by bacteria that have direct contact with the eye, where as cannabis effects the eye through the bloodstream. Would the combination of the two escalate the severity of the conjunctivitis infection? Thanks! |

I don't know, but I'd warn anyone you were smoking with that you have *highly* contagious pinkeye.

I honestly don't know for sure, but logically, when your eye is already inflammed, adding something that causes more irritation probably isn't good.
