how do i get my email sent to my outlook account to another address
is there a way?
currently got a work login using some network exchange server...is it possible to have access to these emails at home via another email address thanks |
Yes... If you have access to your mail settings, you can have it automatically forward your mail to another address. However outlook would have to be kept open while your not there. If you talk to you administrator they may be able to set it up for you on the server level, and then even when your computer is off, your mail will get forwarded. If you plan on doing this yourself, be sure your not going against any agreements with the company, about confidential informaiton.
Some places even have webaccess to your office e-mail, so that no forwarding it even required. Definetly speak to your admin before taking this upon yourself. If you decide to do this anyway... Go to message rules, and eveything in there is pretty self explanatory.. If you need more help let me know here or via im. |
A lot of companies are using something called webmail, as in www.webmail.your company name or initial.com. The http has an https with the s being secure. I can check my work e-mail from any internet connection this way and even access my other Outlook folders, contacts, calendar, etc.

you could write a perl script that checks your email every 30 mins and forwards any messages to the other address. The perl script would have to be running the whole time.
