Excel Challenge :-/

A simple question- I'm a college student and I made a simple spreadsheet that I want to print out and use to schedule my day. It has rows that go from 6am to 12am and what I want to do, is mark the times that I have classes with a little arrow. For example, I want to have an arrow that extends from 8 to 10, since that's when I have chemistry. What would be the best way to go about doing this?

I tried to come up with a way to show what I want. Any help would be greatly appericiated, thanks!

08: Chemistry
09: | <------ arrow
10: V <------ arrow
11 : Biology

my suggestion is don't bother with the arrow. what i do is i highlight the block that represents the class time and do ctrl-1 and format the boxes color to something else, like green. i usually use green for classes, blue for work, black for sleep, and other colors for the random stuff.

If you have Excel, doesn't that mean you also have Outlook? Try using the scheduling features in that. It's much cleaner than using Excel spreadsheets, and you won't have to continually change it.

I'll be on the veranda, since you're on the cross.

I second hannukah harry's advice, if you're going to use excel. I used the "color block schedule" system extensively in college and it worked rather well for me.

I'm going to second this. Why try to get excel to do something another program is out there for already, and does it better?
