I need some (shady) business advice...
Ok, So I had an idea for a site, involving nudity and stuff I don't want on my record when I run for president This site has the potential to make money, and I'm going to make a LLC (limited liability corporation) and open a bank account.
Is there any way to make a tax paying legal corporation that is completely anonymous to the public. As in, no person without IRS files could track me down.... On that note are tax filings public? Thanks...

Your tax filings are not on public record, but if you ran your own corporation, your name as an owner/shareholder/director would be. I'm not a lawyer and I don't know all the intricacies of corporation/tax law, but here are some things that would work from my understanding..
The simplest would be to call it "Reiii Web Design" or similar.. Then you could say you're not directly involved, you just made the porn site or whatever for a client. The fact that this client is yourself is not public knowledge. You could also do web design for real to gain legitimacy and make some extra money, too! Another option would be to put the LLC under someone else's name. You'd have to be able to completely trust this person, as they could take the business and run with it, and you'd have little to no legal claim. Furthermore they would need to be willing to be associated with this shady business, which likely means making it financially worth their while. You'd get your pay by invoicing the corporation as an independent contractor (providing "consulting services" or the like), and nobody besides the IRS would know. Completely legal and legit too, as long as the taxes are handled properly of course. Finally you could form your own corporation in another country (the Bahamas is a popular choice) and be an independent contractor for it in the same way. This is technically legal to my knowledge, but tends to be something done by rather sketchy types (money-laundering drug dealers, people out to evade taxes, etc) so it may raise a red flag with the IRS. Good luck! |

Well if you are planning to run for president, and people care enough to not have u elected, someone will eventually track it down. But I doubt anyone will care. Cheney and Bush have plenty of shady business deals going on but there still sitting pretty...

I believe there are a few states in the US that allow for annonymous corporations.... You may want to check into New Mexico or Arizona. I believe they allow it.
