Japanese Characters
So... I didn't know exactly where to put this and I figured that this was the best place to go first. Does anyone know the caligraphy characters (if that's even the correct term...) for "passion" and "desire" in Japanese? Or could someone direct to a place where I could get some help?

are you looking for hiragana, katakana, or kanji?
hiragana = nipponese characters for sounds, like ta, ma, tsu, mi, etc. katakana = nipponese characters for sounds forming foriegn words kanji = chinese characters, often used by japanese in writings.

I'm guessing you're looking for Kanji. The Japanese use it, but it's a Chinese system of symbols. Google it and you'll come up with a lot of stuff, most of it is different. If it's for tattoos, do yourself a favor and consult a few different sources until you come up with something consistant. By a few different sources I mean people who actually know the language. It may seem a little bit involved, but you don't want to be inked with something that means "horny" or "desperate" (or worse) instead of "passion" and "desire"
