How to strip a car for parts?

anyone know a website that details how to strip an old car of parts?

Its going to depend entirely on the make/model of vehicle. Start by doing some research. Search for what parts on that particular make are fetching cash, and then see if they're salvageable from there. Its often the smaller, more obscure items that are heavily sought after i.e badges, consoles, things of that nature. If you do it right, you can make a KILLING on parting out a car.

Do not, I repeat, do not disconnect the A/C system without discharging it properly.

Also, don't work on it if you haven't disconnected the airbag system.
