Animated avatar/Imageready problems

thanks to my husband, we finally figured out how to create an animated avatar using various pics in imageready. He first created his, no problem. But when going to create mine, I have 4 different pics. 2 are color, 2 are black and white. Once we saved it, the color pics were b&w. Does anyone know why and how to go about fixing that?

Sorry if this is in a wrong area of the forum. You can move it to a more appropriate place.

1) Did you save it from a 4 way view?

2) How did you save it? (gif, optimized gif, etc) Using IR will automatically optimize, but the user controls the degree.

lol, thank you but I have no clue as to what you are saying. Can you explain 4-way? I noticed the optomized option, but don't believe it was saved that way. We saved it as a .gif- as far as we know, you're supposed to.

try this website -- www.gifworks.com

Also remember that an avatar cannot be larger than 100 X 100 pixels in length and width and also larger than 20000 bytes in size. Hopefully this is helpful -- if you need anything else, please do not hesitate to shoot me a PM.... ;)
