like he said... overnight. Then you do your final elbow grease buff out with a terry towel. This will buff off the last bit of haze. Then you need to seal the grout with the best sealer you can find. Maybe even do it twice - follow directions. The important thing is to re-seal it periodically, maybe once per year?

An often missed step, because nobody tells you to do so is to strike the grout. Compaction, strength, and a smooth visual line are all pluses. Do this after the grout has set, prior to sponging off excess from the tile faces.
